The tally of the number of elections won by Rahul and his mother Sonia Gandhi is equal -- six times.
The eight seats where polling was held included Indore, Khandwa, Mandsaur, Dewas (SC), Ujjain (SC), Dhar (ST), Ratlam (ST) and Khargone (ST).
More than 68 per cent voting was registered till 5 pm on the eight Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh on Monday in the fourth phase of the General Elections. This is the last phase of polling in the state.
The eight seats include Indore, Khandwa, Mandsaur, Dewas (SC), Ujjain (SC), Dhar (ST), Ratlam (ST) and Khargone (ST). They are spread across 16 districts and 64 state assembly constituencies mostly in the Malwa-Nimar region of MP.

More than 1.62 crore voters would decide the fate of 74 candidates in the fray on the eight seats.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Anupam Rajan said that 68.01 per cent average voting was registered till 5 pm across the eight seats. He said that voting was being conducted peacefully.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav reached a polling booth in the morning along with his family members to cast vote in his hometown Ujjain.
Meanwhile, local BJP leaders at Dewas alleged that Muslim women were casting votes at a booth wearing burqa without showing their faces for identification.
The complaint was lodged about the polling booth number 69 set up at the Central School in Dewas.
Senior officials of the district administration reached the said booth to resolve the matter.
