Leader of Opposition in the Kerala Assembly VD Satheesan on Wednesday reiterated that LDF convener EP Jayarajan has business relations with Union Minister and BJP Thiruvananthapuram candidate Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
Speaking to media persons in Kochi, Satheesan said that EP Jayarajan himself has admitted that he has business relationship with Rajeev Chandrasekhar. Jayarajan has admitted that his wife has shares in Videkam Resort, he said.
Satheesan claimed that he possessed photographic evidence of Jayarajan-Chandrasekhar ties, provided by Niramaya Vydekam resort. Cases can be filed if someone spreads a fake picture, he said.
Satheesan also blamed that the Kodakara money heist case was not properly investigated by the police. He alleged that the LDF government saved the BJP leaders involved in the Kodakara money heist case, in order to ‘settle’ the probe by the Central agencies in Life Mission, monthly-pay off and Lavlin cases.
The Kodakara money heist case pertained to a highway robbery, allegedly of Rs 3.5 crore in Kodakara town, near Chalakudy, in Thrissur on April 3, three days before the Assembly elections in 2021.
Chandrasekhar, however, said he has no business deal with LDF convener EP Jayarajan. At a press conference here, Chandrasekhar said opposition leader VD Satheesan’s allegation is baseless.
Meanwhile, Jayarajan has alleged that Satheesan is playing dirty politics.
He said that Satheesan was famous for releasing obscene videos and that he had released videos against the LDF candidate during the time of Thrikkakara by-election.
