BJP-JJP Govt indifferent to pain of Haryana farmers: Hooda
Hooda said the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and Jannayak Janta Party (BJP-JJP) are defrauding not only the farmers but also the commission agents and workers of crores of rupees.
Even as Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday said the state government’s contractual recruitments through Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN) will help teachers in getting rid of discrimination in private schools, the former CM, Bhupinder Singh Hooda slammed the move as cheating in the name of recruitment.
The CM said with this initiative, the trained teachers will also get rid of the discrimination of salary being given arbitrarily by the private schools. In private schools, such teachers get a monthly salary of Rs 8,000 to 10,000, while trained graduate teachers (TGT) teachers engaged through the HKRN will get Rs 25,000 and post graduate teachers (PGT) teachers will get Rs 29,000.
He said the Antyodaya families whose annual income is less than Rs One lakh will get 50 marks in the merit of 150 marks in the recruitment of PGT and TGT through HKRN. Similarly, the Antyodaya families with annual income up to Rs 1.80 lakh will be given 40 marks in merit.
So far, under the outsourcing policy, more than 90,000 employees already engaged on contract basis through agencies have been accommodated through Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam.
HKRN has been set up for deploying contractual manpower and manpower of outsourced category services in government departments, boards, corporations, statutory entities, state universities and other agencies owned and controlled by the state government.
Meanwhile, the former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Singh Hooda said that the government is cheating the youth in the name of recruitment in Kaushal Nigam.
“This scheme is designed to exploit educated youth on low wages. The Congress government started the abolition of the contract system, but instead of taking it forward, BJP-JJP opened their own contract shop,” he said.
Hooda said that there is no transparency in the recruitment through the corporation. Recently many questions are being raised regarding the recruitment of TGT and PGT as recruitment was done in haste, without following any procedure.
“By doing this, the government is also ending permanent jobs and reservation for Dalits and backwards in service, because there is no provision of any kind of reservation in recruitments done through the Kaushal Nigam,” the Congress leader added.
The Leader of the Opposition said the government should stop this contract system and make sure permanent jobs are given to the youth of the state.
