J&K CM Omar Abdullah lays stress on Himachal Pradesh-type laws to protect agricultural land
The Chief Minister noted that Himachal Pradesh has adopted a strict policy in this regard and stressed the adoption of a similar policy in J&K.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge today thanked the people of Himachal Pradesh for voting his party back to power and said his party was committed to fulfilling ten promises it made to the people of the state.
”We thank the people of ‘devbhoomi’ Himachal Pradesh from the bottom of our hearts. We welcome all brothers and sisters of Himachal who reposed faith in the Congress party,” he tweeted.

Senior leader Rahul Gandhi also thanked the people of Himachal for bringing the Congress back to power. He also thanked party workers in the state for their hard work in bringing the party to power.

he also stated that the Congress party gracefully accepted the verdict given by the people of Gujarat in the Assembly elections. ”We will reunite ourselves, work hard and fight for the principles of the country and the rights of the people of the state,” he added.
