Manipur: Suspected militants attack villages, injure civilians and security forces
On November 10 and 11, armed groups opened fire near Yaingangpokpi and other villages, injuring civilians and security personnel.
An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Alshipora area of Shopian, police said on Tuesday.
Police and security forces are on the job, they added.
“Encounter has started at Alshipora area of Shopian. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir Police Zone said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
