Five CRPF personnel and a constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police were wounded on Saturday in a grenade blast during a search operation in Arwani area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports said that the security forces were withdrawing from Hassanpura area of Arwani following clashes during a search operation when the blast took place.

The injured were rushed to sub-district hospital Bijbehara for treatment.

Besides, three moderate-risk lakes and seven low-risk lakes have also been identified. Expeditions have been conducted to high-risk lakes, including Sheshnag and Sonsar, to enhance understanding and preparedness.
The forecast for the next two days suggests moderate rainfall in some regions, with strong winds blowing at speeds of 40-50 km/h.
