Another Army soldier was on Sunday killed in sniper firing by Pakistani troops in Naoshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu.
A spokesman of the Army said the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing in the Naoshera Sector on the line of control (LoC) around 2.45 pm in which Naik Gosavi Keshav Somgir was critically injured. He later succumbed to the gunshot wounds.

The Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively targetting Pakistan Army posts. “The martyrdom of the Indian Army Soldier will not go in vain,” said the spokesman.
A soldier belonging to Samba district of Jammu was killed on Saturday in similar sniper firing by Pakistani troops along the LoC in Rajouri. A soldier and an Army porter were killed last week in firing from across the LOC.
