India’s most-wanted gangster Dawood Ibrahim is in Pakistan, his brother Iqbal Kaskar confirmed, according to media reports.
Iqbal Kaskar was arrested in Mumbai on Tuesday in an extortion case.
According to media reports, an officer related to the case said, that Kaskar has confirmed that his brother is in Pakistan. Dawood Ibrahim is wanted in several cases including the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts in which 257 people were killed.

Pakistan has on many occasions denied that Dawood is living in the country.
Kaskar is also understood to have told the investigators that Dawood has avoided speaking to him and other relatives in India for the past three years over fears of his phone being tapped, the sources said.
Iqbal Kaskar is the fifth of Dawood’s 11 siblings and he was deported from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in March 2003.
