Nine special trains have been announced to clear the anticipated rush for the computer-based exam for Indian Railways assistant loco pilots and technicians, which is to be held on 10 August.

All those appearing for the Railway Recruitment Board 2018 exam for assistant loco pilots and technicians will have to carry the RRB ALP admit card 2018 when travelling in any of the nine special trains.

According to reports, two trains will run between Bihar’s Muzaffarpur city and Secunderabad in Telangana. Trains will also run between Muzaffarpur and Bhubaneshwar, Darbhanga and Bhubaneshwar, Barauni and Sikandarabad, and Danapur and Sikandarabad.

To be held in a phased manner till 31 August, the first set of the computer-based tests for 66,502 vacancies of assistant loco-pilots (ALP) and technicians will see around 48 lakh candidates taking the exam.

The next set of exams is on 10 August, followed by exams on 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 29, 30 and 31 August.

The 05289 Muzaffarpur-Secunderabad special train departed from Muzaffarpur this noon and will arrive at Secunderabad at 1 pm on Friday, a statement said.

Origin station, time and date: Secunderabad at 9 pm on 10 August.

Destination station, time and date: Muzaffarpur at 2 am on 12 August.

Origin station, time and date: Muzaffarpur at 5.25 pm on 10 August.

Destination station, time and date: Bhubaneshwar at 6.30 pm on 11 August.

Origin station, time and date: Darbhanga at 3 pm on 11 August.

Destination station, time and date: Bhubaneshwar at 4.30 pm on 12 August.

Origin station, time and date: Barauni at 7.05 am on 10 August.

Destination station, time and date: Sikandarabad at 11.00 pm on 11 August.

The Indian Railways had on 8 August announced three special trains – Patna-Indore-Patna, Danapur-Secunderabad and Darbhanga Secunderabad – for the exam.

Samastipur, Mokama, Patna, Buxar, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Allahabad Cheoki, Satna, Jabalpur, Itarsi and Nagpur will be some of the intermediate stations along the way of some of the trains.
