Dates to remember:
• Online application starts: April 22, 2019
• Online application ends: May 15, 2019
• Interviews for RA positions: June 2019
• Written Examination and Interviews for RF position: June 2019
Age limit:
• IITM Research Associates: Interested candidates should not be more than 35 years.
• IITM Research Fellows: Interested candidates should not be more than 28 years.
• However, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation according to government norms.
Academic qualification:
• IITM Research Associates: Interested candidates should have a doctorate degree from a recognized University in Meteorology/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Oceanography/ Physics/ Applied Physics/ Geophysics with Meteorology as main subject/ Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ or equivalent subjects.
• IITM Research Fellows: Interested candidates should have post graduate degree with minimum 60% Marks in (Physical Sciences [includes Physics/Applied Physics/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Climate Science/Geophysics with Meteorology as one of the subject/Environmental Sciences/ Electronics / or equivalent subjects.
