The Indian Airforce on Saturday airlifted 737 stranded students and others to Leh (Ladakh) from Jammu and Srinagar.

As many as 514 persons belonging to Kargil were airlifted to Leh in two sorties and 223 people from Srinagar in a single sortie.

These passengers expressed gratitude to the authorities, especially the IAF, for airlifting them.
