Congress candidate from Rae Bareli Rahul Gandhi faced a peculiar situation when he was asked by a youth about his marriage plans.
During an election meeting here on Monday, a youth amongst the crowd asked Rahul, ”When will Rahul bhaiya get married?”
Rahul, however, tried to avoid the question and said that he could not hear anything. But his sister Priyanka Gandhi, who was standing by his side, explained to him what the youth was asking.

Rahul laughed at this and said that he will get married soon.
After his mother Sonia Gandhi was elected as Rajya Sabha MP, Rahul is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Rae Bareli parliamentary constituency. In Rae Bareli, he will face Congress defector and three-time MLC Dinesh Pratap Singh of the BJP.
His sister Priyanka Gandhi has been campaigning here for him for the past many days. In addition to seeking re-election in Rae Bareli, Rahul is also contesting from Wayanad in Kerala.
Rae Bareli will see voting on May 20 in the fifth phase of general elections.
