Addressing an election meeting at Paliganj in Patliputra constituency in Patna district of Bihar on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the people to weed out the parties and people who could disintegrate the country. “Elect a strong government that will protect the interest of the country,” he said, further appealing them to vote for a party that will work for the development, progress and growth of the poor.

He was rallying in the support of BJP candidate and Union Minister Ram Kirpal Yadav from Patliputra seat who is pitted against RJD’s Misha Bharti.

PM Modi was particularly critical of Congress who he accused of siding with the “tukde-tukde” gang saying that the party had joined hands with divisive forces who care less about the country and more about themselves.

“Desh ko tukde tukde karne wale ke sath Congress khadi hai, (Congress is standing with divisive forces),” said PM Modi, adding that the party has been hurling abuses at him and trying to tarnish his image.

He charged that Congress and the Opposition parties in Bihar have accumulated wealth over the years and their assets have gone up whereas his real wealth was people’s love for him.

“Be it Congress’s ‘naamdaar’ family or the corrupt family in Bihar, their assets are in thousands of crores now. From where did the money come? If they had little care of the nation and the poor, they would have hesitated from indulging in corruption.

“This is my last public meeting today, last opportunity to seek blessings for 2019 Elections. But I will come back when I will again accept the post of prime minister,” he said, adding that he is overwhelmed by the love and affection he received from the people of Bihar, reported ANI.

“After six phases of voting entire India is saying ‘phir ek baar Modi sarkar (Modi government once again). 130 crore people of the country have faith in me and my leadership.

He claimed that people, particularly the youth, have been getting the world’s cheapest internet in the country. “World’s cheapest internet is in India,” he said.
