Himachal Pradesh SET 2019: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has started the online application process for the State Eligibility Test. The online application will end on January 10, 2019, on the official website-www.hppsc.hp.gov.in. SET is conducted for the candidates who want to work as Assistant Professor in the universities and institutions of Himachal Pradesh.
The test will be conducted in 22 subjects at various exam centres located in Shimla, Solan, Mandi, Dharamshala, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Nahan, Una, Kullu and Chamba subject to a number of candidates.

• The candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions that are recognized by UGC.
• Candidates who are in their final year or have their results awaited are also eligible to apply.
Paper scheme:
• The test will consist of 2 papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type papers.
Application fee:
• General candidates: Rs 700
• Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) of H.P.: Rs 350
• SC and ST of H.P.: Rs 175
• PWD/BPL of HP: Rs 175
