HPPSC recruitment 2019: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has released an official notification inviting applications for the recruitment of Professor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor posts. Interested candidates should apply online on the official website-www.hppsc.hp.gov.in by August 26, 2019.

Vacancy details:
• Professor: 3 posts
• Associate Professor: 9 posts
• Assistant Professor: 39 posts
• Lecturer: 3 posts
Academic qualification:
• The candidates should check the official notification for the educational qualification since they differ for every post.
Application Fee:
• General and OBC category candidates: Rs 400
• S.C. of H.P. /S.T. of H.P. /O.B.C./BPL of H.P.: Rs 100
• Ex-Servicemen of H.P. do not have to pay any application fee.
Age limit:
• Professor: Interested candidates should be less than 50 years old.
• Associate Professor: Interested candidates should be less than 50 years old.
• Assistant Professor: Interested candidates should be less than 45 years old.
• Lecturer: Interested candidates should be in the age limit of 18 to 45 years of age.
Selection Procedure for HPPSC recruitment 2019:
• The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Screening Test and personality test.
• The Screening Test will be conducted only for shortlisting the candidates for personality test.
• The screening test will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of 100 Objective type questions of 1 mark each.
