MP CM does ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ of medicity
Mohan Yadav performed the 'Bhoomi Pujan' for the state’s first medicity at Ujjain to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 592 crore.
Bracing up to tackle any possible surge in cases of Covid in Himachal Pradesh, the state government has put up demand of 10 lakh doses of Covishield vaccines to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
This was stated by an official spokesperson of the Health and Family welfare here on Thursday.
He assured that the state is fully geared to deal with any threat due to COVID virus and the basic health infrastructure is being strengthened in all the health institutions of the state.

“Presently 13,000 doses of Covaxin are available in the state. The state government is in process of receiving first consignment of 10,000 doses of Covishield shortly, as per the information received from the manufacturer (SII). The same would be distributed immediately to the beneficiaries,” said the spokesperson.
He further informed that in addition to above doses, the State government has also requested the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to provide 10 lakh doses of Covishield vaccine and one lakh doses of CorBevax for the eligible beneficiaries for precautionary doses at the earliest.
