Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee on Monday held a ‘Mashal (Torch) March’ against the BJP and its allies for trying to destabilize the state government by using unconstitutional means.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu participated in the procession which started from the historic Ridge and culminated at Ambedkar Chowk, Chaura Maidan in Shimla.
HPCC President Pratibha Singh, HP Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Speaker, MLAs, various office bearers, party leaders and party office bearers participated in the procession.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the BJP attempted to throttle the democratic process and make the mockery of the democratic norms in an unethical and undemocratic manner and tried to topple the Congress government in the State, ignoring the huge mandate of the people given to the Congress.
