The Ministry of Earth Sciences said on Thursday that isolated to very heavy rainfall are likely to hit most parts in J-K, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, West and East Rajasthan.
The monsoon rainfall situation is likely to last till 1 July in all places except J-K, Rajasthan, Punjab Haryana.

In East Uttar Pradesh, which is reeling under intense heat, isolated to heavy rainfall is predicted for the next few days starting 30 June.
The MoES said that southwest monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Gujarat region, most parts of East Rajasthan, some parts of West Rajasthan, entire Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, remaining parts of West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
“Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into remaining parts of north Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Rajasthan and thus the entire country during next 2-3 days,” said the Ministry in a statement.
“The ongoing heavy rainfall spell is very likely to continue for next 2-3 days over parts of Northwestern States,” said the Ministry.
