Haryana CM Saini keeps Home, Finance, Excise and Taxation portfolios
In the newly formed Haryana government, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini kept key portfolios, including Home, Finance, and Excise and Taxation with him.
In view of the cold wave conditions prevailing in the state, Haryana government on Friday extended winter break in government and private schools of the state till 21 January.
As per the notice issued by the directorate school education, the schools – government and private – will now reopen on Jan 23 (Monday). But students of Class X and XII, will have to continue going to school in vew of the board examinations of these two classes.
All government and private schools were earlier closed till 15 January due to the extreme cold weather prevailing in the state.
