The Haryana Police Special Task Force (STF) has arrested the most wanted criminal and mastermind of multi-crore heist in Gurugram, carrying a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh on his head from near Delhi-Gurgaon Border.
Sharing the information today, a Haryana Police spokesperson said that the arrested accused has been identified as Vikas Lagarpuria, a resident of Badli in Jhajjar district. A team of STF Gurugram has nabbed the most wanted criminal after getting a secret input.
Sources said that dreaded Vikas Lagarpuria was detained from the IGI Airport Delhi by the Central intelligence agencies after he arrived from Dubai. A team of Haryana Police’s STF got the custody of Lagarpuria.
He has more than two dozen of criminal cases against him including those of murder, attempt to murder, robbery, extortion, and kidnapping.
During the preliminary interrogation, the accused introduced himself as Deepak, a resident of Hisar. But on thorough interrogation, he was identified by the STF sleuths, the spokesperson said.
In 2021, accused Vikas was involved in multi-crore heist from Alpha G-Corp company located in Sector 82, police station Kherki Daula, Gurugram. A case in this regard was registered at Kherki Daula police station.
Till now, 19 accused have been arrested in this case with the recovery of Rs 5,78,51,000, besides six vehicles. The police probe so far has found that at least Rs 30 crore was stolen from the office of Alpha G-Corp Management Services Pvt Ltd at Sector 84, Gurugram.
