Trespasser hid in Bengal CM’s residence whole night, nabbed
Facing interrogation, he confessed that he climbed up the boundary wall and entered the Chief Minister's residence at around 1 a.m.
An official spokesperson said it’s for the first time in the history of the country, the chief minister’s residence of a state has been named after a great personality who not only fought against social evils but also always opposed the caste system.
Haryana Chief Minister’s official residence will now on be known as Sant Kabir Kutir. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, had made this announcement on Sunday while at the state-level Sant Kabir Das Jayanti celebrations in Rohtak.
Following the announcement, a plaque of ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’ was installed outside the Chief Minister’s residence.

“The rationale behind renaming the Chief Minister’s residence as ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’ is huge as this action of the chief minister clearly highlights that he does not believe in the caste system, for him the noble deeds of a person are their real identity,” the spokesperson said.
Khattar urged the people of the state to take a pledge to love mankind by rising above caste-based discrimination.
