J&K DGP visits operation bases in terrorist-infested Basantgarh
Nalin Prabhat conducted an operational review of forward operating bases on the strategic tri-junction of the Kathua, Doda, and Udhampur districts in the Basantgarh area.
A gunfight erupted on Tuesday between militants and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district, police said.
As soon as the security forces cordoned off Nowbug village in Qazigund area following information about the presence of the militants, they were fired at, triggering the fighting.

“The gunfight in ongoing,” the police added.

Meanwhile, security forces on Monday had killed two militants in a Gunfight during a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The deaths were reported in Rajwar area, according to the police officials.
