ICMR left indelible mark on India’s healthcare landscape: Nadda
Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said on Thursday that the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has left an indelible mark on the country’s healthcare landscape.
“I have a firm belief in the strengths and capabilities of our Karyakartas. We have to make our booths stronger and stronger. We must put all our energy into ensuring that we cross 400 this time,” he said.
BJP chief JP Nadda on Saturday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stellar leadership is ensuring prosperity in the country through keeping ‘GYAN’ (Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata, Nari Shakti) at the forefront of his focus.
In his inaugural address at the BJP National Convention here, Nadda said: “During seven decades of the history of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, and Bharatiya Janata Party, we have seen every period…We have seen the period of struggle…we have seen the period of neglect…we have seen the Emergency…and also the periods of winning and losing in elections. But we are glad to note that the last decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi has been full of achievements.”
The BJP’s two-day National Convention commenced at Bharat Mandapam here today. The saffron party’s national convention is being held to formulate a strategy to secure over 370 seats for the party in the Lok Sabha elections.

“Just after five years, in 2019, again, it was a ‘Poorn Bahumat Sarkar’ under PM Modi’s leadership,” he said.
“Today, we state this with pride that hard work and efforts of our Party’s leaders have turned our Adhiveshan into ‘Maha Adhiveshan’!” Nadda said.
Mentioning Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Nadda said: “Today, over 80 crore beneficiaries are getting free food grains under the scheme.”
“Also, the last ten years under the Modi Government have pulled around 25 crore people out of poverty; have given these people new wings to fly. The story doesn’t end here…on every front, be it health, infrastructure, education or employment, Modi’s leadership is fulfilling the dreams of every Indian. Modi’s leadership is truly transforming India in an unparalleled way,” the BJP chief said.
‘GYAN’ (Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata, Nari Shakti) has been the prime focus of Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, he said.
Nadda further expressed confidence that the BJP will secure over 400 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
“I have a firm belief in the strengths and capabilities of our Karyakartas. We have to make our booths stronger and stronger. We must put all our energy into ensuring that we cross 400 this time,” he said.
