Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the presidents of Indonesia, Brazil and Turkey separately on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan on Saturday and discussed ways to boost bilateral ties and enhance cooperation in trade and investment.
In his meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo, PM Modi discussed on deepening India-Indonesia ties.

The two leaders discussed on increasing maritime cooperation, trade and stronger people-to-people linkages between the two nations.
Speaking on the meet, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said that “there was a view that since the election has concluded in both the countries, it was time for both to strengthen comprehensive strategic partnership which was established during the last visit of PM Modi to Indonesia”.
This was PM Modi’s first official engagement of the second day of the two-day G20 summit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held bilateral talks with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on the second day of the G20 Summit.
The leaders discussed on improving business linkages and overcoming climate change.
“Deepening the close & multifaceted strategic partnership. PM @narendramodi & Brazilian President @jairbolsonaro held wide-ranging discussions on bilateral relationship, specially cooperation in trade & investment, agriculture & bio-fuels in the context of climate change,” Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
Later on, Modi met President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan where the two leaders talked about the strong development partnership between India and Turkey.
On Modi’s bilateral meeting with the Turkish President, the MEA elaborated that the discussions focused on trade and investment, defence, counter-terrorism, IT and civil aviation.
On Friday, PM Modi held multiple meetings with several world leaders, including US President Donald Trump, Russian president Vladimir Putin and China’s Xi Jinping.

He also addressed an informal meeting of BRICS leaders urging them to come together and fight terrorism and curb terror funding.
