Soldier injured in cross-border firing in Jammu’s Rajouri
An Indian Army soldier was injured in a cross-border firing incident at the Line of Control (LoC) in the Nowshera sector of the Rajouri district on Wednesday.

An Army captain and three soldiers were killed in Pakistan shelling in the Poonch and BG sectors on Sunday. A soldier and two children, a boy and a girl, were also seriously injured as Pakistan troops also targeted the villages along the LOC.
The Army personnel killed have been identified as Capt Kapil Kundu, Rifleman Ram Avtar, Rifleman Shubam Singh and Havaldar Roshan Lal.

An Army spokesman said Pakistan troops initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing from 3.30 pm in BG sector along the Line of Control. Indian troops retaliated and heavy damage has been inflicted on Pakistani posts.
