An under-construction three-storey building in north-east Delhi’s Bhajanpura area collapsed killing at least four persons on Saturday evening, the police said.
Out of the four who are reported to have died till now, three are students and one teacher.

According to the police, a building came crashing down on a nearby building whose coaching centre took the impact, killing the four people in it.

“The rescue work is underway. Teams of NDRF, DFS and the police are making all efforts to rescue the people. Around 15 people are reportedly trapped in the debris,” DCP (North-East) Ved Prakash Surya told IANS.
As per the reports, around eight persons have been hospitalized and the condition of some of the injured is said to be critical.
Surya further told that the efforts are being made by the rescue team to rescue those trapped in the debris.
The officer informed that the second and third floors of the building collapsed on the evening of Saturday.
