Four friends from Ghazipur die in Nepal plane crash
They had gone to the neighbouring country on January 13 to pay obeisance at the Pashupatinath temple.

Four of the five Indians killed in the plane crash at Pokhara international airport in Nepal on Sunday morning were native of Ghazipur of Uttar Pradesh.
They have been identified as Abhishek Kushwaha, 25, Vishal Sharma, 23, Anil Kumar Rajbhar, 28, Sonu Jaiswal, 28, and Sanjay Jaiswal.

According to information, Abhishek, Vishal, Anil and Sonu are residents of Ghazipur and all four were friends. They were the natives of Alawalpur Sipaha and Dharwad villages in the Ghazipur district.
They had gone to Nepal three days back on January 13 to pay obeisance at the Pashupatinath temple. There is a wave of mourning in the Ghazipur district due to the news of the death of four friends in the plane crash. The victims’ families have left for Nepal.
Surprisingly, deceased Sonu Jaiswal was doing FB live when the crash took place. The video of the FB Live of around 1.36 minutes also shows how the aircraft caught fire after it crashed.
The 72-seater passenger plane crashed while landing at Pokhara International Airport in Nepal. So far 68 people have lost their lives in the accident.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) said that Yeti Airlines 9N-ANC ATR-72 aircraft had taken off from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport at 10.33 am and was slated to land at Pokhara airport at around 11 am. There were 68 passengers and four crew members on board the aircraft.
Dr Bibek Debroy, Chairman of The Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council and a renowned economist, passed away on Friday. He was 69. Apart from being a learned scholar and author, he was known for translating the Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, Ramayana and Puranas into English.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Friday, expressed deep condolences on the passing away of Dr. Bibek Debroy, Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM) and renowned economist.
Rana was a veteran political leader and the voice of Jammu region’s Dogra community. He was 59. He was also the younger brother of Union minister Jitendra Singh.
