When asked how this idea got moved, the DGP told SNS that it was Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s intention to provide a weekly off to the cops too. As of now the cops have to work 24×7 without any weekly off. However, those cops and officers working in the offices do get weekly off/weekend off.
