UP govt takes proactive steps to tackle urban flooding
The Uttar Pradesh government has stepped up efforts to address the issue of urban flooding well in advance.
Heavy rains waterlogged several areas of the national capital including some parts of the Indira Gandhi International Airport here on Saturday morning.
Accordingly, the arrival area of Terminal 3 was waterlogged for “half an hour” before it was cleared.

The incident took place after relentless rains lashed the national capital since Friday late at night.

However, flight operations continued unhindered at the airport.
