Mother-son duo among three arrested for grabbing land
A 70-year-old woman, her son, and their associate were apprehended for illegally grabbing land and selling it after the demise of its owner in Sector 6 of Dwarka in South West Delhi.
DGP Umesh Mishra on Sunday said that two of five accused – Manish Jat and Vikram Gurjar – belong to Sikar, while Satish Kumhar, Jatin Meghwal and Naveen Meghwal are from Haryana.
In less than 24 hours, the Rajasthan Police arrested five accused allegedly involved in the killing of notorious gangster Raju Thehat.

Mishra said that all five accused are in police custody in Sikar and are being interrogated. Thehat, who was facing about three dozen criminal cases, was killed outside his house.

Thehat, 45, who was out on bail, gunned by unknown assailants in the coaching area of Sikar city on Saturday. One person – Tarachand Kardvasar – who had come to meet his daughter at a coaching institute, also fell prey to the gunshots of the assailants.
