Adorned with a yellow dhoti, flowers and gold jewellery, the first look of Ram Lalla, a depiction of five-year-old Lord Ram, after the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony resonated with innocence and divinity.

The 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla, sculpted by Arun Yogiraj, was unveiled in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS chief Moha aren Bhagwat in a grand consecration ceremony.

With a golden ‘mukut’ on its head, a ’tilak’ on its forehead and carrying a gold-platted bow and arrow, the idol of Ram Lalla was consecrated with full vedic Hindu rituals.

Here is the first look of Ram Lalla after ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony:

Earlier, the eyes of the idol were unveiled for the first time after the historic ceremony in the sanctum santorum of the Ram temple.

Indian Air Force (IAF) choppers showered flower petals over Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple premises in Ayodhya as the idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled in the presence of PM Modi.

The grand ceremony was held amid chants of “Jai Shri Ram” by devotees and special guests.

The historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony was attended by representatives of all major spiritual and religious sects of the country.

People from all walks of life including representatives of various tribal communities also took part in the ceremony.
