Cancer experts at the 4thImmuno-Oncology Society of India (IOSI), have found that an immunotherapy was described as an effective and successful treatment in cancer.
With the participation of Ayurveda And Allopathy in the Integrated Oncology session, the experts hoped that treatment would get a new direction, treatment can be done more successfully and at an affordable cost. They said immunotherapy can be very effective in selected cancer patients and also called low-dose immunotherapy useful in the country.

More than 500 oncologists, Ayurvedadoctors and scientists from the country and abroad participated in the conference.Cancer experts from countries like America, Australia and England addressed the programme, organized with the goal of a cancer-free India. Dr. Jyoti Bajpai from the TataMemorial Hospital in Mumbai said that a CRT cell therapy trial has been started in association with IIT Mumbai and the initial results were quite encouraging.

Dr. Hemant Malhotra, chairman of the organizing committee and head of the cancer department at Mahatma GandhiHospital, said that 3 workshops were organized on the first day. In these,things like increasing the success rate of treatment through detailed tests of cancer came to the fore, he said.
“Discussions were held on the latest methods of cancer detection, NGS and PCR techniques and immunotherapy.Immunotherapy was described as an effective and successful treatment”, DrMalhotra said.
Dr. Lalit Mohan Sharma and Dr. AjayYadav said that good results are expected from the use of Ayurveda medicines in clinical trials and CAR-T cell therapy is proving to be a boon in blood cancer and lymphoma.
Such patients in whom cancer comes back even after a lot of treatment, the patient’s own healthy cells are modified in the lab and enteredback into the patient’s body, they said. A contract is also being drawn up with the NationalAyurvedic Institute for research and treatment of cancer.
Among other experts, Dr. Sudhir Sachdev said that for the prevention of cancer,the members of the university go to the general public and explain the methods of healthy lifestyle and prevention of cancer at an early stage. Dr. M LSwarnakar also stressed that the prevention of cancer was the most important and immunotherapy treatment was very effective even in advanced stages and medical science was continuously working that cancer treatment is possible with Low Dose immunotherapy.
