17.31 lakh new workers added under ESI Scheme
Around 19,000 new establishments have been registered and brought under the social security umbrella of the ESIC during March this year.
ESIC recruitment: Employees’ State Insurance Corporation has released a notification inviting applications for the recruitment in upper division clerk and stenographer posts at various regions. The candidates should apply online on the official website by April 15, 2019.
The candidates can pay the fee online till April 30, 2019.

Age limit:
• Interested candidates should be between 18 to 27 years of age.
• However, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation according to government norms.

• General/OBC category candidates will have to pay application fee of Rs 500.
• SC/ST/PWD/ Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates & Ex Servicemen will have to pay Rs 250.

Examination scheme:
• The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of:
Stenographer: the selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Main examination and Computer Skill Test and Stenography Test.
Upper Division Clerk: The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Preliminary examination, Mains examination and Computer Skill Test.
