ED raids multiple locations in Kerala in Rs 450 cr CSR Fund scam
Properties linked to key suspects were searched as part of the ongoing investigation into a massive financial fraud.
The Enforcement Directorate team accompanied by a large contingent of the Central Paramilitary Force CRPF entered the state secretariat Indravati Bhavan here on Wednesday evening.
The government sources said the ED officials entered the headquarters of Labour, Mining and GST Departments with CRPF jawans guarding the corridors. However, there is no official confirmation from the agency.
Earlier on Monday ED teams had raided premises belonging to Congress treasurer Ram Gopal Agrawal, Chhattisgarh Mining Development Corporation Chairman Girish Devangan, Congress MLA Devendra Yadav and Chandradev Rai along with four others.
The Income Tax Department has also filed a case against Saumya, IAS officer Anil Tuteja and others in Tees Hazari Court in New Delhi regarding alleged graft and disproportionate assets.
