Disruptions in Parliament are totally unacceptable as nobody has the moral authority to postpone the business of the House, President Pranab Mukherjee said here on Friday.
Speaking at the India Today Conclave here, Mukherjee said: "The disease of disruption has crept in. Disruption is totally unacceptable to me. Session after session pass without transacting any business. Who will make law? Money and finance needs to be discussed."

Mukherjee said that when he entered politics Parliament used to meet more frequently – around 24-26 weeks in a year – but that was no longer the case.
He said that Parliament must examine the rationality of expenditure as it is the taxpayers' money which was being spent.
