UP Jal Nigam adopts geotube technology to treat drains ahead of Maha Kumbh-2025
As part of these efforts, the Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Urban) has established a geotube technology-based treatment plant in Salori, built at a cost of ₹55 crore.
UN Environment Programme Executive Director Erik Solheim on Thursday condoled the death of Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave, describing him as a wonderful advocate for environment.
"Deeply sad to hear that Anil Dave has passed away," Solheim tweeted. He said Dave was "such a wonderful advocate for the environment — we'll miss him dearly".
