Dispelling rumours about his health, Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama on Wednesday assured the general public about his good health.
The Tibetan spiritual leader said this in response to media queries on his arrival at Gaggal airport in Kangra district after successfully concluding 11-day teaching tour in the Baltic States.

During the 11-day European visit, the Dalai Lama gave teachings on Tsongkhapa’s In Praise of Dependant Origination (tendrel toepa), Diamond Cutter Sutra (dorjee chodpa) and White Manjushri empowerment to over 4,000 Baltic and Russian Buddhists in Riga, Latvia.
Earlier, there were reports that Dalai Lama is terminally ill after which spiritual leader’s personal physician Dr Tsetan Dorjee Sadutshang had clarified that the information is absolutely false and rubbish.
“Dalai Lama has been having a very very busy schedule. In fact, even in this month, he has been giving religious discourses on June 6, 7 and 8 continuously for three days to the youth. How can somebody who is terminally ill and is said to be having such serious medical condition, ever engage in such busy schedule; it defies common sense. I would term this as total fake news,” he had said.
