Hoque’s arrest is linked to allegations of financial transactions facilitating unfair means during the CBSE Class 12 Physics examination.
According to the board, the activities conducted by schools need to be sustained over a period of time to ensure that ethical values were ingrained permanently in the minds of the younger generation.

The Central Vigilance Commission has asked Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) affiliated schools to observe Vigilance Awareness Week from 29 October to 3 November 3. The theme for the week is ‘Eradicate Corruption-Build a New India’, a statement issued by the CBSE said.
According to the board, the activities conducted by schools need to be sustained over a period of time to ensure that ethical values were ingrained permanently in the minds of the younger generation.

Among the activities recommended to mark the Vigilance Awareness Week are “display of banners, hoardings, posters; administering ‘integrity pledge’ to students and teachers on 29 October; sensitising students and staff members on the ill effects of corruption;. organising lectures, panel discussions, debates, quiz, and having competitions in essay and slogan writing on moral values, ethics, good governance practices.”

It also stressed on organising seminars on ‘Eradicate Corruption-Build a New India’.
