Swapna Suresh has recently alleged that CPI-M Kerala secretary MV Govindan  through an intermediary offered her Rs 30 crore to withdraw the  allegations against the Chief Minister and his family and  asked her to leave the country.

Last week, Swapna, in a Facebook Live had alleged that one person named Vijay Pillai, an  intermediary of CPI-M Kerala secretary  MV Govindan,  met her in Bengaluru claiming that MV Govindan had told her that the chief minister had promised to pay 30 crores to start a new life for her  in another country and that she should leave the country. She also said Vijay Pillai, a native of Kannur, also threatened her that her life would be in danger if she did not accept the Rs.30 crore offer.

Refuting her allegations, Vijesh Pillai said, “I contacted Swapna on February 27 seeking permission for a web series. We met at a hotel in Bengaluru. When she asked about financial returns, I offered her 30 per cent of the revenue. I told her that if we earn Rs 100 crore, we will give her Rs 30 crore.”
