BJP already accepted defeat in Maha polls, Modi left the battlefield: Congress
Speaking to reporters in Pune, Reddy said Modi’s week-long international tour is evidence of the BJP leaving the electoral battlefield.
He also challenged Chandrasekhar and Jayarajan to pursue legal action against him if they dispute his assertions.
Opposition leader in the Kerala Assembly V D Satheesan on Monday reiterated his allegations of a business relationship between Union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar and LDF convener E P Jayarajan.
He also challenged Chandrasekhar and Jayarajan to pursue legal action against him if they dispute his assertions.
The opposition leader said Chandrasekhar’s election affidavit confirmed that he owned Nirmaya Retreats, the wellness luxury hospitality brand that entered into an agreement with Vaidekam Resort in Kannur, owned by EP Jayarajan’s relatives. Jayarajan’s family members hold a share in Vaidekam resort and the CPM leader was an advisor to the resort group, he said.

“The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has cancelled its probe against the resort now. Would ED dare to take action against a resort owned by the Union minister?” asked Satheesan. He also alleged that Vaidekam and Nirmaya are linked like the BJP and the CPM.
The senior Congress leader alleged the probe into the Karuvannur Co-operative Bank scam had also come to a halt ahead of the polls as the BJP has signed a pact with the CPM.
CPM and Pinarayi Vijayan are supporting the BJP in this Lok Sabha elections to evade action from the ED. Pinarayi wants to give space to B JP in Kerala in this general elections,” he alleged.
Opposition leader’s continuous allegation is that the business relationship between the union minister and LDF convenor has turned into a CPM-BJP relationship. Congress has decided to intensify its campaign against CPM and LDF based EP Jayarajan’s statement” BJP will come second in many constituencies and many candidates of BJP are good”.
