Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of the state to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing a Rs 100 reduction in the prices of LPG cylinders on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The Chief Minister posted on X, “Today, on the occasion of ‘Women’s Day’, the decision to give a discount of Rs 100 on the prices of LPG cylinders will bring financial relief to millions of families and ensure a healthier, happier life for ‘matri shakti’ by freeing them from smoke and pollution. On behalf of the people of the state, I sincerely thank you, Prime Minister, for this public welfare initiative that honours the ‘matri shakti’ and safeguards the environment.”
