According to reports, the dead ladies were between the ages of 30 and 35. One body was found in the Baby Lake canal next to K. Bettanahalli, while the other was discovered in the CDS Canal close to the town of Arakere.

As word of the incident spread, panic seized the area.

Police believe that the ladies were killed in various states, then their corpses were dismembered, and the bodies were dumped into bodies of water to wipe up any potential evidence.

The upper halves of the bodies could not be found despite the start of a manhunt. Despite the fact that specialized police teams have been assembled to look into the case, they are unable to identify the victims.

Further investigation is on.
