J-K: Exchange of fire between terrorists, security forces in forest area of Srinagar
An exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces was reported in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar district, police said on Sunday.
The security forces claimed to have nabbed a terrorist belonging to the Hizbul Mujahideen outfit in South Kashmir.
A massive security arrangement in view of the Republic Day, has failed to check the entry of terrorist elements in Jammu and Kashmir who have struck again in the form of a grenade explosion in the heart of Srinagar city on Sunday.
A civilian sustained injury when the terrorists exploded a grenade in the congested Eidgah locality in Srinagar.
According to police, a 32 year old Ajaz Ahmed Deva received splinter injuries and was rushed to hospital. His condition is stable.

Security forces have launched a search operation to nab the terrorists involved in the explosion.
Meanwhile, the South Kashmir’s Shopian Police and Army claimed to have arrested a terrorist belonging to the Hizbul Mujahideen outfit. Identified as Nasir Ahmed Sher Gojri alias Qasim Bhai, the resident of Hom-Huna Nagbal, was allegedly involved in several cases of terrorist attacks. Investigation is going on to unearth the entire terror network.
