Punjabi singing sensation Daler Mehndi shared a hilarious video of a Chandigarh cop singing his iconic hit song to guide traffic in the city.
The video features the policeman singing to the tunes of the song by guiding the people on the road to not park cars illegaly on the roadside.
He is seen singing, “Bolo ta ra ra ra gaddi nu crane lae gai,” to the beats of the Punjabi hit.

Daler thanked the traffic police for using his song to inspire people to follow rules.
He wrote on his official Twitter channel alongside the video, “I am glad that my music is used by Traffic police to inspire people to follow rules.Happiness Means Daler Mehndi Celebration Means Daler MehndiThank you for your love and Support#DalerMehndi #BoloTaRaRaRa @trafficchd @ssptfcchd.”
The Chandigarh Traffic Police’s official handle also retweeted his post.
Daler Mehndi was recently seen on reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar as a judge.
“Bolo Ta Ra Ra” was Mehndi’s debut album and sold over 20 million copies.
Mehndi is also credited to have created a genre called “Rabbabi”, which is a combination of Thumri, Sufi and rock and creating an instrument called ‘Swar Mandir’ which combines influences of Rabab, Swarmandal, and Tanpura.
