Stressing that the Centre does not discriminate with states where the BJP is not in power, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said his government was promoting “cooperative federalism” and growth of all states.
Addressing a rally in Begumpet soon after landing in Hyderabad for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), Modi said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will take India on the path of development.
“We believe in cooperative federalism. There is no question of discriminating against states where we are not in power. We are committed for the overall development of our country,” Modi said.

“In the southern part of the country, the BJP has not got many opportunities to serve in government. Yet, our Karyakartas (party workers) are always working on the ground and being with people,” Modi said.
After his speech, PM Modi will formally flag off the first train of the prestigious Hyderabad Metro Rail project and launch the GES 2017.
Modi received a rousing reception as soon as he landed at the Begumpet airport. Children from different schools wearing Modi masks were the special attraction at the reception ceremony.
