Northern Army Commander asks troops to remain alert during anti-terrorist ops

Ahead of the Independence Day, a cache of grenades, pistols, rifles and ammunition was on Thursday recovered by security forces in the arduous topography of Kath Panjal nullah near the LoC in Poonch district.
Army spokesman Lt Colonel Devender Anand said acting proactively on a tip-off, joint teams of the Army and the J&K Police launched search operations in the general area of Chapriyan in Poonch district and busted a terrorist hideout of arms and ammunition.
