PM to visit Kuwait this week
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kuwait on 21-22 December at the invitation of Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, it was officially announced on Wednesday.
The Defence Minister said the PM was a Jan Nayak, but after receiving so much affection of the people, emerged as a Nav Yug Pravartak, leader of a new era. This Cabinet is truly a Cabinet of a millennium, Mr Rajnath Singh said.
The Union Cabinet on Wednesday adopted a resolution congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the historic consecration ceremony at Ayodhya Ram Temple on 22 January “which energised India’s soul.”

The Defence Minister said that never before such an occasion came like what happened on 22 January, 2024. What was accomplished by the Prime Minister on this day had no parallel in Indian history, he said.
This day had come after centuries and wait of years, he said. In 1947, the body of the country got freedom, but on 22nd January, the Pran Pratishtha of India’s soul was completed. This had given immense happiness to everyone, he said.
The Defence Minister quoted Mr Modi’s speech that day and said destiny had chosen the Prime Minister to perform the task. India had met its destiny in the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla.
He said the Prime Minister had by his work given a boost to morale of the country. “All members of the Cabinet are fortunate to attend today’s meeting. Never before such an outpouring of emotions was seen, as witnessed on 22nd January,” he said.
On an earlier occasion, such emotions of people during a movement were seen during the Emergency, but those were against an autocratic government, as an opposition force, he said. What was seen in favour of Ram marked the beginning of a new era, it had become a people’s movement, he said.
Crores of people had joined this movement, Mr Rajnath Singh said. The Prime Minister’s 11 days’ fasts were also unparalleled, providing energy to the whole nation.
The Defence Minister said the PM was a Jan Nayak, but after receiving so much affection of the people, emerged as a Nav Yug Pravartak, leader of a new era. This Cabinet is truly a Cabinet of a millennium, Mr Rajnath Singh said.
