Mahakumbh 2025: Devotees to be educated on RTI
In a first, the Uttar Pradesh government will make people aware of the Right to Information (RTI) on the sands of Sangam during the 2025 Mahakumbh.
Most of the deceased were from Agra; 14 injured persons have been admitted to hospital
Six persons lost their lives and 14 sustained injures when a Uttar Pradesh Roadways bus collided head-on with a truck in Kotwali Dehat (Rural) area in Bulandshahr district in the early hours of Sunday. The deceased — four women and two men — were mostly from Agra.
The seven injured are recuperating in Bulandshahar district hospital.

The head-on collision between the Agra depot bus (UP 85AF 9849) and the truck (HR69C 3818) took place near Thandi Pyao of Kotwali Dehat on National Highway 51, said police sources. They said among the deceased was the driver of the bus, Siyaram Tyagi. The resident of Dhaulpur in Ragisthan died on the spot.

The other five deceased are Sunita Devi, Aradhana, Anjali, Anil, Suneeta.
Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the accident and rushed the 14 injured passengers to hospital. The six bodies have also been sent to the district hospital, for post-mortem.
