Herath Poshte!: PM Modi greets Kashmiri Pandits on Maha Shivratri eve
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted Kashmiri Pandits "Herath Poshte!" on the eve of Maha Shivratri.
A Kashmiri Muslim BSF jawan, Rameez Parrey, was shot dead and his three family members seriously wounded when unidentified terrorists on Wednesday evening attacked his house at Hajin in the Bandipura district.
According to the police, heavily armed terrorists barged into his house and fired at the inmates killing the BSF jawan on the spot, who was on leave.

The injured family memberd have been shifted to the hospital for treatment.

National Conference leader and former chief minister, Omar Abdullah, was the first among the political leaders to condemn the incident.
He tweeted “What a terrible incident. This is abominable”, he added.
