The ongoing protest over alleged irregularities in the BPSC 70th PT (preliminary test) got another momentum as Khan Sir alias Faizal Khan, who is leading the students movement, claimed that he has got proof of rigging the examination.

Khan Sir said instead of printing a new set of question papers for the BPSC 70th PT examination held on 4 January, the BPSC used the remaining set of question papers printed for the examination held on 13 December, 2024.

He said that he will present the evidence in the High Court and expressed confidence that after seeing the evidence the High Court will order to cancel the exam.

Reacting to the allegations, the BPSC stated that some coaching operators are spreading confusion and asked BPSC aspirants to remain alert.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, it stated, “The Commission clarifies that for the re-examination held on 4 January, three sets of new question papers were printed as per the number of candidates and as per the provisions of the Commission. One set of question papers was selected under the Element of Surprise and used in the re-examination.

“It took 21 days to conduct the re-examination only because of printing of new sets of the question paper. Hence, the allegations being propagated/broadcast on social media are completely baseless.”

Even after two months of the examination, the protest continues at the government-designated protest site in Gardanibagh, Patna. Students said that they were not tired and they would continue to protest till the government accepted their demand of reexamination. They also observed that the protest will escalate in the coming days.

As the assembly session is about to start here they will approach all party leaders to raise their demands in the house.
